MK2B SENTRY - Security Hologram Foiling Machine

A flexible desktop Security hologram foiling machine for centralized and point of issue document protection applications applying all hot stamping and embossing features. The machine boasts a powerful 1000 kg impression system which is able to cope with variable thickness documents from paper to passport cover without adjustment. Packaged with security in mind, the Sentry coded access control systems has two levers of user control protecting the machine against misuse while controlling high security applications. Further security against unauthorized use is the automatic shutdown which is activated after 10 minutes of the machine sitting idle. All customized processing materials such as dies and foils are maintained within the secure casing of the machine and can only be accessed by using the Sentry coded machine control system.

Applications
The MK2B SENTRY is used to easily and quickly protect documents of value by applying hot stamped security OVD features such as registered Holograms and micro-embossing such as a micro-embossed clear foil protection that is applied over variable DATA leaving the information visible while protecting against alteration without leaving evidence of tampering. A micro-embossed metallic foil feature protects against photocopy or reproduce and is used to identify and authenticate documents.

Document Feeding Systems
The MK2B SENTRY is designed with a number of feeding options which allow a wide range of documents and to be processed both by hand and automatically. The standard hand fed MK2B SENTRY has a document table with adjustable guides for easy document positioning in hand fed applications up to 750 items per hour. Templates can be used to assist with stamping of smaller items such as ID cards. Three fully automatic feeding devices are available for production of Plastic cards, A4 paper sheets and continuous sprocket fed pack to pack stationery in volume.
